That better ? Check the draw of the horns sometime. You'll be surprised. --- On Sun, 1/18/09, Kyle Munz <[email protected]> wrote: From: Kyle Munz <[email protected]> Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Re: Dreaming of the thaw To: [email protected] Date: Sunday, January 18, 2009, 7:55 PM
I can't say if they're louder than the stockers since both of mine were dead when I got the bike. They are certainly louder than my friends' bikes. After painting them I had to adjust the "do not adjust" screw on the back that controls their vibration. I've also noticed that they sound off more evenly with the motor running. It might be a voltage thing, but since the only time you really need them is when the motor is running I haven't worried too much about that. -Kyle On Sun, Jan 18, 2009 at 7:25 PM, Angela <[email protected]> wrote: hey Kyle, I was wondering if the horns you bought were loud? I just bought a pair of 3.5" (high and low) honda civic horns at PepBoys for $15 each. Sprayed them black and snapped the plastic trim pieces from the original horns onto them. Picture available on my blog ofcourse. http://munz.kicks-ass.net/nighthawk/?p=113 -Kyle On Sun, Jan 18, 2009 at 3:42 PM, Creative Residential Designs <[email protected]> wrote: Missing some original horns, but nice!
