If I remember from what my dad told me,the viscosity is different from
auto oil to motorcycle oil.Do to the high load and work on the
clutch.I got a K&N Oil Filter for my 82 Nighthawk 450 for less than 7
bucks and my Repsol oil was like 18 bucks (for the amount needed)
Thats premium filter and oil,I saw some cheaper filters and oil,but I
know cheap isnt always the best way to go.Especially with an older
bike!
Owning a motorcycle isnt cheep
