Bought my Nighthawk last spring and put about 5K miles on it and
It's been great. The problem I have is after a normal highway ride the
bike will restart with no hesitation, but after a low RPM ride the
bike will barely roll over. If I wait 5 min. It will restart just
fine. I was told the bike will only recharge at 2500 RPM or higher and
a low RPM ride was draining the battery. That would make sense if it
did'nt recover it's charge after 5 min. I was also told to buy a new
battery. I don't buy that because it holds a charge for several weeks
at a time. A service guy told me I most likely have a dead short in
the charging system. I don't buy that either because it recovers it's
charge after a few min. A dead short would not allow a full recovery.
Hmmmm. any suggestions ? A big thanks to anyone who can shed some
light on this situation.

Patience, Spring really is comming !!!
