If "roll over" means a slow cranking speed that isn't high enough to start the bike, Have the current draw of the starter motor checked both hot and cold. My suspicion is a starter motor on the brink of failure. The low RPM ride is also a slow one.The heat would spread to the starter motor and after a few minutes, as it cools, be fine again. The high RPM ride would give you a pretty high surface charge on the battery that would overcome the the high resistance starter. lots'a variables here. How many miles on the bike ? Now if "roll over" means something else... let's agree on a common language to describe a problem.
