If it's not froze up then that is the good news. The bad news is you'll probably end up rebuilding that engine. It may be difficult to find a motor out there that you can just drop in. If you do chances are it won't be cheap. Parts for these bikes are getting scarce, but there are members here who can give you some links for them. Nighthawks are touchy about their oil and I found that I need to check my oil level constantly. Check your oil level while your bike is on it's stand and see if that may be what caused your problem. It could be a factor. Otherwise you'll need to tear it down to locate the exact nature of the problem. Good luck! Hotrod.
