Yes, we have a resident PC lover and I'm sure he'll get back to you. Having sold and serviced those for many years, I can say without any hesitation that they are great motorcycles. I'd probably have one myself but I don't have the time to indulge in wonderful long rides and am quite happy with what I have now. They are not Wings (thank God) nor are they ST11's. What they are, IMHO, are fine touring mounts for people who don't want the weight or expense of a Wing and can do with a little less creature comforts. Typically low maintenance Honda's, they suffered a bad rap from the press. In their own little niche, they deified being categorized. I don't know if the reviewers were go-fasters or Wing riders, but they all criticized the bike for what it lacked. They never dwelled on what it was really good at. One reviewer likened it to a scooter. Too bad. Expect to spend some bucks on a bike with 46K, but it's gonna' be worth it. There is a site devoted to those.

There is one for sale in my locale and the price is in the range of "a steal" if it turns out to be what it appears to be. I was hoping to find that "someone" here that was tuned inrto these bike and hopefully garner a little intel on what I would need to watch for...you know, those idiosyncrasies that might make or break a specific model of scoot. This unit only has 46k on it which I could only assume for such a touring ride, has gotta be chump change but I'd love to hear from someone in the know. Much appreciated! ~Tim email: treedoc <at> charter <dot> net --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
