Hey all,

I recently got Violet on the road (man, that was nice), and noticed
something kinda interesting. I had my bike in the garage for about 3-4
months. When I pulled the front brake lever, it went all the way to the
throttle, with little or no resistance. Almost like when you push your
caliper pistons in to change your brake pads (on your car, never did the
bike yet). This can't be normal, but I had the bike on the road from
May of last year until about October, and had no brake issues at all.
Any ideas on what caused this? Once I pumped the brake lever a few
times, all was normal again. Oh, yeah, Violet is an '84 700S.

Viggy
