I forgot to mention the anti-foam chambers. They have to be filled with oil and
left to sit for awhile before replacing the head cover. The bike on it's side
(fell over in a truck and went unnoticed for days in route to another state)
would have allowed the adjusters and anti-foam chambers to leak out. Me, I'd be
changing oil, adding some snake oil (sea foam, MMO, whatever) and see if that
works. I do this for a living and like the shoemakers kids...
I know all too well what they look like inside, if I don't really have to, I
don't take 'em apart.
