The slip-ons would be F1's... a tad noisy. The '84 700s was the loudest of the 
three years although the part numbers are all the same (?) Also the '86 has the 
largest sump capacity and once again, the part numbers are all the same. 
(crankcases, etc..) 
If I had to use a slip-on (best for replacement because you keep the EQ under 
the engine. It makes for better mid range power) I'd use Super Trap with eight 
plates so no rejetting would be required.
