It can go on at that speed as long as you have gas in the tank; as for how much it holds, I have always kept it full and not let it get below about half a tank, due to the high humidity here. Don't want water getting in and rusting out the tank. Most I remember putting in was about three gallons, but I think it holds around five. Can't give you an accurate answer, but I am sure Dennis knows, or Paul. I have traveled 70 miles @70mph with two up. Stanley
