My wife and I ride 2up pretty frequently on my '83 650. Never a
problem, the bike handles it. Just make sure your familiar with the
handling and stopping chractoristics of the bike while 2up. I crank
the preload on the rear shocks up to max and also set the ride setting
to 5. Watch the bumps and dips. btw...I'm 200 and the wife is a buck
and a quarter.
