Can I ask if he wants to replace them "just because ?" I have preached not removing them during a rebuild but nobody seems to notice. They are easily checked without removing and if you do remove them, you risk them expanding and not being able to re-install. yes, they are very expensive. That's why I caution people about messing with something. If it aint broke, don't fix it. Whatever..it's your bike, your money

A honda mechanic friend of mine is actually working on the carbs, I am just the tear-it-apart guy. He suggested that I replace the diagrams and recommended that I try to buy online to save some money. Can any of you advise me in this? Is the diagram he speaks of actually the throttle valve? I looked on Bike Bandit and that is what it looks like to me. But, the price is $141 each. Also, any ideas on the best place to get a replacement fuel line? What do you think? My bike is great - thanks to the help from you folks!Mike Prince --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
