There isn't a torque specified for the valve cover bolts. I use Lock-Tite 
and wrench 'em down just past snug. You got to be careful not to break 'em 
off or strip 'em out of course. Replace any bolts that look a bit rusty or 
warped if possible. HotrodMamma.
