I'm 5'5", with a 28" inseam, and my NH is about at the limit of what I can ride, heightwise, without going to a foot-forward cruiser, which I don't want. There are a few newer bikes that I can sit on comfortably. Best is the new Triumph Bonneville ... 800 ccs and very comfortable, and just like the bikes I learned on back in the day. I can also sit on the Suzuki SV650 (not the S model) and Kawasaki Ninja 650R. Also the Harley Sportster or Sportster Low, if H-D is your thing. Check out the new Suzuki Gladius too, as it's the updated SV650. You might also try having an auto interiors shop shave down and recover your seat, but this will change your relationship with the pegs, and to do it really simple, get boots with a thicker sole.
