gmail really drops the ball when it comes to inserting pics in your emails. The only way I've found to do it is if it's online somewhere you can hilight/copy/paste the image in your browser into a gmail composition. Other than that your only option is to attach it, which atleast gmail throws in at the bottom. Mebbe someone else has spent more time figuring it out and can tell us the answer?
