On a 700 the signals are mounted to the forks by way of a rubber stay  
(it doesn't 'stay' long!).It wouldn't make much difference what forks  
were used I imagine.  The CB650 is a different set up for the signals  
with different mounts or strays.  They're more plentiful and used on  
many other models.
