Hate to see you go, but if you go to http://groups.google.com and sign in, click on the Nighthawk Lovers group, then click on "Edit my membership" you will see a button for unsubscribing. You can also choose receive the messages once a day in a digest or not receive them by email at all incase you want to retain your membership and just read the messages on the groups site when you have time.
