I bought a 1996 750 last summer and have been riding it everyday sense - I live in a place where I can rid eyear round. I replaced th front tire after about 1,000 miles and kept the back on because it still looked good. Bad idea, I finnaly replaced it last month and was shocked at how much better the bike is riding. I also made the mistake of replacing the front with a cheeper one - again bad idea - I ended up replacing it at 3 months because it just didn't feel right and felt soft on corners.
