I remember those. They were attempts to make motorcycles less motorcycle-ly, therefore less intimidating, therefore ridden by nice people, therefore you could meet the nicest people on a Honda.
The predecessor, and produced simultaneously was the Honda 50, which more people bought than any other motorcycle... ever.
