That's a really good point Dennis. After spending about half of what I originally bought my bike for on completely rebuilding the front end (fork seals, steering head bearings, rebuilt calipers, new tire etc...) I'll be more careful of the questions I ask and what to look for on the next old bike I buy. Even though they look pristine, (which mine does) I found out the hard way that there are a lot of hidden things that need attention, especially if the bike has been sitting in storage a while. Even inside garaged storage.
