I've ridden many in my sordid past. The high price of looking cool / bad is making an otherwise nice bike into something that is almost unridable. Rake ? trail ? whatever. hard tail ? REAL MEN p blood... The whole deal is a state of mind, or mindlessness. One night I was coming home from Valley Forge and I see a light in the mirror. From the shaking of the light I knew what it was. He caught up with me as we made the sweep onto the cloverleaf connecting 727 to 422. I easily kept him behind me till we got on 422. Then, with a roar of open pipes he blasted past and flipped me the finger. Just about the time he got about a 300 yard lead there was a series of flashes from his bike and he began coasting over to the side. I waved... It was 1:30AM. The walk will do him good.
