Can I assume that your situation requires replacement ? Badly damaged / missing
? While anything is possible with work, why not originals ? One of the members
has a 700s (US) with a bad engine. Look long enough and parts can be had.
Custom work is time consuming and frustrating.

  Hello All,

My name is Kenny and I am glad to see this discussion site up here. I am a
recently new owner to an 84 750s with 6,000 kms on it and I had a few questions
about it before I started to tear it apart and make it into my little project
bike.

Questions:

1) My hand controls need to be replaced. Can I get newer honda controls off a
used bike that will fit, with little problems, on my bike? If you could
reccommend a model that will bolt right on and the electrical connectors would
be the same, then that would be fantastic.

2) Id also like to replace the speedo guage cluster with a newer style guage
cluster off a newer honda. Can this actually happen without being an electrical
engineer? And would anyone know of guages I could pull off a current honda
model that will fit?

Thats it. These are the only questions I have. I am farely new to the honda
scene and hopefully someone can help me answer a few questions. If not then
take care gentlemen/ladies and maybe I'll see you riding around Toronto one
day.

Best regards,

Kenny Kalynuik
