yeah..."repaired" probably works fine. At least you had the moxy to put it all
back together!

wrecked to me sounds like it hasn't been repaired. saying the bike's been
down and has since been repaired is different (or at least I think so anyway.)

of course, it could just be terminology.

I'm still trying to sell it and it is NOT wrecked. I had my brother (the
mechanic) replace everything but the headlight and the tank. It comes with 2
spare tanks and the headlight currently works but it doesn't look the best.

hard enuff it will raise the front tire in second. But I enjoy the country
cruiseing It is a wonderful bike except when looking for parts. I spent all
last summer looking for a left side cover ended up buying a cracked one an
fixing it. I now have 1100 dollars in the bike an would not take 3000 dollars
for it It would take that much to find another bike as nice as it is.It has
convinced me Honda is the only way to ride. Derby

never did much work to them. I often thought of what you could make out of one
of them. Better headlight, suspension work, and the front end from a 650 to get
two brakes. Would make a neat ride. I do have a left side exhaust for a 550, no
right. Honda must have lost a ton on those. Consider how much it cost to
develop the motor alone. I don't think it was ever used on anything else. Maybe
some other market. None of the 83~86 bikes share much at all. Just the ideas.
You hit the jackpot, you got all three.

neutral and over drive? I am really impressed with this bike. It is very
peppy when it gets over 4k rpms and it's nice powerful enough for me at 142
pounds to just toodle around on. It seems like the ticking/clacking may have
gone away. It was too windy through my helmet on the last ride to tell but the
idle was good. I changed the oil again and a new filter. Yesterday I came
across another Kawa 454. The guy wanted $1200 for it. It doesn't have
original exhausts and one has a hole in it but the bike runs good, needs a lot
of cleaning up but that's what I do. I offered him $300 and he gladly
accepted. I'll go back today and get it - I think. It needs a new exhaust
system. I'll be away all next week and out of touch. I'm a counsellor at a
boys camp in northern PA. When I get back I'll get back to the CB750F and

has anyone else?? Seat is in excellent condition. It has the backrest and rack
- just that missing side cover and hydraulic valve lifter tick. Got the bike
for $350. I pick it up tomorrow from Hughesville - know where that is Dennis
(not far from Bob Logue in Williamsport)?
