Have you Adjusted your Shock Preload? The Suspension on the 550 Nighthawk wasn't the Great to begin with. The Factory Shocks on the 550 Nighthawk are VHD and have Five Preload Settings. Mine were not Leaking either, so I removed mine and Paid the Local Shop here $ 5.00 a Shock to Compress and Disassemble them for me. Then I Checked the Spring Length and found them to be in Spec according to my Shop Manual and I Ordered New Bushings and Bump Stops from Bike Bandit and Replaced them. I had them Reassembled and it seemed to help. I also found a low Mile Pair on E-Bay and did the same to have an extra Pair. Steve....................................
