I have mine set at the Highest Setting too and still feels Soft. Mine never bottomed out as you say yours do and I weigh 225 Lbs and even after Disassembling them and replacing the Bushings and Stops they still don't. I've also Replaced the Old Fork Springs with New ones by Progressive that I got from Dennis Kirk and I use Bel-Ray 10 wt. Fork Oil and I run 4 lbs. of Air Pressure in my Forks. All this work is a Improvement and as I mentioned before this was a Big Complaint with these Bikes. Sounds like you had no luck with the Shocks from E-Bay. Look at it this way, the ones from JC Whitney are New and would have to be an Improvement also. Steve...............................
