hey it could be the battery problem but usally when you have a problem with a bike starting hot after its run and it starts good cold its usally rectifier or points but usally rectifier when they go bad they get hot bike doesnt want run start or dies going down the road after running sometimes after a hr or more of running but thats usally it bad newz if thats it your going spend 140 buks because thats what they cost and good luck finding a good used one the same as ur bike
