Jeff,

I've got an '85 and an '86 CB700SC - both very clean and both had about
10,000 miles on them. I paid about $2300 each.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] Selling the Hawk. (maybe)

I have been thinking about selling my 85 700 Hawk for a while now. Not that
it is a bad bike, On the contrary, It is the most dependable bike I have had
in a very long time. I just want something bigger so my wife can ride with
me. I just don't know how much to ask.

I have seen bikes like mine go for as much as $2500. Mine is ALL OEM with a
silver piant job. It runs perfect with new rubber and only has 13032 miles
on it. A guy at work has seen it and wants me to give him a price. I just
don't know what is a good deal for this bike. I don't want to rob him but I
don't want to take it in the rear either. My goal is to get another bike and
use the money for a downpayment. I would like to keep it and get a second
bike but these are hard times. I was thinking around $2000. I can send a pic
if anyone wants to see it.

Please reply with your opinions. All will be taken into consideration.
