Last time I was there was spring '68 when I rode through on my Honda 160. There \were lotsa taters and not too many cars. Passed one truckload of them and realized why I saw so many... Then I cut across Montana and there were all these trucks carrying logs, so lotsa bark flying by. Not the four legged variety, just silent and painful at speed. Beautiful country, but the higher I got the colder it got, and it was toward sunset and my fingers were too frozen to light a fire and/or put up my tube tent tent with my bike inside to warm me up a bit, so I broke down and rented a room. I was so cold I could hardly talk to rent the room... Shoulda pickied up a coupla those taters....
