I'm a buy it now kinda guy, after my latest experience. Bid on an item I wanted languished at $100 for days. Thought I had it, but there was a round of furious sniping in the last five minutes that drove it up past my proxy bid and settled beyond $250. Couldn't get a last bid in fast enough, and lost it.
