When the HD Corp decides to take some of that money they stole from hapless trusting souls that bought Hogs, and make a real, ORIGINAL and NEW machine, they won't have to even THINK about closing. I sorta said that already, but I didn't say "new. " If Moto Guzzi could come up with new and original machines that won races and were reliable, so could Harley Davidson. The Japanese bought HD from AMF, after the latter had a go at it and decided to sell, and they came up with some awesome and superior also-rans, including Honda. They all showed up HD. So HD, like GM, needs to get their corporate head out of where the sun don't shine and give their "highly poinionated loyal riders" who are of questionable repute the boot, and take some of those riders (who would buy domestic machines were they reliable), give them value for their money (like Honda did when he was alive), away from the Japanese. Not likely to happen...
