That's a memory jogger. Nothing to do with motorcycles, but there's a semi- famous local watering hole in Pensacola, Florida (aka The Cradle of Naval Aviation) called Trader Jon's.
The Trader was a local character who opened his place during World War II and has catered to probably hundreds of thousands of pilots, student pilots, backseat drivers, air crews and ground support types for decades. It also served as a second home to the Blue Angels. The walls are littered with naval aviation memorabilia going back 60-some- odd years. Dunno if the place is still there. If it is, it's probly a museum. But I still have a tee shirt from the sixties with a caricature of him and the slogan "$50,000 reward if you can catch the Trader wearing matching socks." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
