How do you tell if you have the mixture right. How I usually tune a carb on a car is by unplugging a vacuum port and noting the difference in RPM. When I get it so that the RPM goes up by 100 RPM with the leak open I'm good. This leaves the carb slightly rich. I understand that on these bikes you set the #2 carb and then synchronize the other carbs based on comparative vacuum to #2 (ugg another $100 tool). Float level and needle height seem to be done via W.A.G and seat of the pants know how the bike should run experience. Any better solution to these other than installing O2 sensors?
Appreciate insight, Allen.
