I would replace it before the weather gets too hot. It helps the air flow on
hot days.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] How important is the air guide?

When I was winterizing my '83 650 I noticed that my air guide that
lives up under the front of the gas tank has gone missing. How
important is it that I replace that piece? Bike Bandit says it is
available to $21. Should I be replacing it? Does anyone here have one
on a parts bike that they would part with?
