Block up the front end so the wheel is off the ground and turn it by hand. Any
drag ? Can you make it "click" this way ? I've heard this before and it's
usually some brake drag and the "click" is the pads jerking on every
revolution. Let me know if that's what's happening. there is a way to cure it.
What is this bike 550 ? 650 ?

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] ticking sound

Not sure how to describe this sound but here goes.

Kind of a high pitch (not super high) ticking sound. When it started
it was only when I hit my front break. It seams to be going all the
time now when I'm above 40mph. It may be there all the time but I
just can't hear it with the helmet on. It gets a lot worse when I hit
the front break. Rear break seams to make it go away. I recently had
the front breaks pads replaced - they were really worn.

It is getting loader / worse.

Thoughts? Things I can try to figure out what is going on?

I know it's not much to go on but I don't want to have a major failure
on the road.

Thanks - Sean
