I don't know if you can use any other keeper, but cables for your bike can be found at http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/search/by_motorcycle/all/1982/Honda/CB750SC/Cables/ I bought a new choke cable last year and found them to have quick shipping and excellent service.
