I have some of that stuff. I will give it a try over the tape and see how it
does.

I'm thinking about the stuff you can buy and dip the handles of your tools in
to make new rubber handles. I'm wondering if you could paint this stuff on
the wires to make your own custom sheaths.

Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] wire covering

Does anyone know of a source for the wiring harness covering (sheathing) that
Honda used, sometimes gray and sometimes black? The covering gets brittle and
cracks on these old bikes and I would like to replace it. Any ideas?
Thanks, Larry from Michigan.
