Got an auto body-work book at the library with not much info. I don't need to straighten a frame etc.
I was thinking sand/feather, primer sand & repeat.
The tank is next, it has black on primer on maroon. It's like an archeological discovery when sanding.
Painted exhaust last year with black manifold paint to prohibit rust. Muffler with silver aluminum. It corroded a bit.
The Ol' 550 needs a wash. I've been riding on salt/cinder road's.
Thank God it's been warm & the snow is melting.
Heading to De. Shore & Bedford Pa. Done the Pa.Turnpike pike. A little bumpy with the concrete slab pavement.
I do Lincoln Hwy/Rt-30 the whole way from York.
I was stationed in Victorville Ca/GAFB.& rode My Suzuki GS 1000 to San Jose/SF/Napa Valley.
Did the 5-frwy most of the way. Did the scenic route on the way home. Rt-1 to Santa Cruz to Monterey & cut over to Coalinga.
Bakersfield/Tehachapi. The speed limit at the time was 55 & I got a ticket for doing 80mph. The CHP was cool & gave Me a short-cut home!
It's been quiet on THE NH site lately.
