Read along, that's the subject at hand. The handlebar switch turns off the headlight when you push the starter button. Now if that somehow didn't work quite right... Back to basics, find the harness to the handlebar switch and check for 12 volts at the black wires with the key on. check for 12 volts at the headlight plug.. (hint # there are no black wires in the headlight plug,they change colors in the switch) Blue, white and green. If the switch is getting 12 volts and the headlight isn't.... 12 volts at headlight but no light ? Bulb bad or ground connection. The fault should be found in less time than it took me to type this.
