Hi! You're only as old as you want to be. For my birthday last week I flew to Las Vegas with only my riding gear on and my saddlebags. I was picking up my self-imposed birthday gift, a 2000XL1200C Harley Sporty, all customed out from Arlen Ness' place. One of the members of my club was riding back to Idaho with me. That's two insane people. Within two hours of landing in Las Vegas some crazy woman stole my seat. Beautiful thing it is, ostrich skin solo seat. It was the previous owner. Apparently she had a detachment disorder concerning the seat. Yes, I got it back and that's a story in itself. We rode from Las Vegas to Boise via Ely, Nevada. Nobody told us that Ely was at about 6500 feet. We nearly froze and made it with zero drops of gas in our tanks. I am writing up the story of this event entitled "The Insanity Tour, Hotrod and Doogie." P.S...I'm 49 and Doogie is 29. I nearly killed him on this ride and I'm just an old woman. ;)

I'll give you a quick run down of who I am. 60 years old, gray hair with lots of motorcycle savy, but the reflexes are going south a little. I've been rideing for 46 years with around 500 thousand mile on my tired behind. Currently have a Harley Road Glide, lots of expensive headakes, I don't recomend one. I am also rideing a 1991 CB 750 Nighthawk. This is my 2nd Nighthawk, the first was a CB 450 that I wish I had never sold, such a good little bike. I picked up this 750 this winter with only 7,000 miles on it. It's a fun bike to ride and I think I am really going to enjoy it. by the way looking for a used centerstand for it if anyone knows of one. I,ll through my two cents in every now and then.
