sorry kim, i gotta disagree...

Engines need air, compression, fuel and spark to run...if it was
running before, and you didn't mess with it, compression and timing
are good, so that leaves fuel and spark (it will always get air).
Take the plugs out, leave them hooked to the wires, and have them
touching the block...hit your starter...if A) you see spark on the
plug, and or B) when you are done you can smell gas in the cylinder,
you are good.  if either of those is not happening, you found the
problem.  no spark is probably a bad contact (read the book to find
exact fix) no fuel smell means you are not getting fuel (duh)... try
priming your cylinders or using a starting fluid...It is turning over
so the battery is prolly strong enough.  new plugs and checking the
gap might be another good step...all in all you probably have about 45
minutes of trouble shooting...and you can be either riding or
cursing...keep us posted!
