This maybe like many cars where you can put a compression fitting on
the side of the numbers. Once you have it apart look for a crack on
the gear side of the numbers. Then disassemble and put the fitting
over the crack. I have tried this on a bike yet so I do not know the

Still hoping I can get some ideas on my odometer. I've had the bike
since 2006 and the speedometer has always been very jumpy and
inaccurate, it overstates the speed by about 25-30%, (reads 38-43
when
I'm doing 30). But the odometer was always accurate. Monday the
speedometer is reading a steady 40, (when I driving at 30) but the
odometer and the trip odometer have not moved.
It's mainly an issue as I refuel based off the trip odomoter, but
this
would also be a problem with my inspection. The mileage is recorded
each year.
