Be very wary of a bike that you know has been dropped. Mine
supposedly was crashed in a "soft landing" in a grassy ditch. I saw
some evidence of that when I bought it, but went for it anyway.

Even though it looked and ran great, frame and forks were bent,
requiring replacement of those, a wheel, handlebars and some plastic
parts before it was road ready and reliable. It's in good shape now,
but only after more than $1000 in used parts (+$1500 purchase) and a
year's steady wrench work. Unless you are committed to that kind of
frame-up restoration project, look elsewhere.

I like the model too, and I did not buy it with resale value in mind,
but I did not buy it with the idea that it would turn into a money
pit, either. But it did, so be prepared for that.
