You'll want to check a wiring diagram to be sure, but in general on the solenoid the larger terminals will be one for your battery positive, and the other directly to your starter. The 4 spade connectors will be for (2) the control circuit that is connected to your starter switch and (2) for the neutral safety switch. Basically when both the neutral safety switch is closed (bike in neutral or clutch pulled in) it energizes half of the solenoid so that when the starter switch is presssed (closed) the solenoid will engage and allow electrical current to flow from your battery through the solenoid, to your starter, spin your starter (hopefully start your bike) and to the ground (bike frame). I know there are folks out there that are a lot better with electrical than I am, but I would start by figuring out which two link with the starter switch and which two work with the neutral safety switch with a continuity check. hope that helps...thats the best my 12,000 mile screwdriver can do for now...
