Very nice, that is almost exactly what I just did with mine. I picked up my '82 450 in December and worked on it til Feburary when it was fixed and the roads were clear enough for test rides. I've now got about 3000 miles on it with many many modifications and tweeks and plans for much more. Anyone ever restuff the seat on these? That's coming soon for mine. Here's a picture:
