One winter when I was a teenager my buddy and I thought that it would be cool to hook a rope to his dirtbike and go snow skiiing with a flying saucer. We didn't think that you can't steer one of those things, It probably would have been ok if we were in a field, but we were doing it on a street in our neiborhood. I clocked a mailbox 4x4 post. It slid all up my right side and stopped me dead when it hit my arm pit. That hurt for days.
