I have an old set of 38mm Mikuni slide carbs. Easy to install and awesome to run.

I also have some other parts that must go! You would trade approx 5-10 MPG for roughly 25hp gain... always seemed like a fair trade to me. The bike will stay every bit as reliable too. In some aspects it would become more reliable without the vacuum system (Mikuni carbs only require a push-pull throttle cable... simple is good). These flat slides are modern technology... The stock carbs are dinosaurs. These motors are golden and they can produce so much power with the right carbs. The old stock Keihin CVs run very lean and airflow doesn't compare. It is really only a problem if you want MORE POWER!!! Re-jetting the stock carbs can only help so much. I think many of us are content with the stock carbs on our 750 but I for one thought honda could have set us up a little better. Kurt, I am sorry my friend one of the other NH Lovers beat you to the pipes... they're sold.
