Hello everyone! I discovered this while searching for a decent instrument panel glass. I have owned nighthawks since 1990 and my first a 1985 650 which I blacked out, lowered and dragged out. It sat about 3 inches of the ground and had a wheelie bar. I use to lauch that thing at 10K, light to light not much was touching me not even the then popular KZ's. I'll dig up a picture. Since though I have owned about seven 700s and still have an 84' red and 85' blue and now a recently aquired 86' "halloween" bike. I am starting the resurrection of this lost but not forgotten bike... It has been sitting for 23 years in a wrecked condition (light front end damage) and with 2775 miles on the clock and all mine for $800.
I am looking for the gauge glass and a black front wheel anyone have an extra one laying around for sell or trade? I have almost 2 complete 700's on my shelf. I really don't need the whole cluster and if it's dirty/scratched I'm still interested as I plann to butcher my 84' for the parts I need now and replace them later.
