Work your way up from the bottom. Remove the cable, does the square bit on the front wheel sender spin when you rotate the tire? Chuck the end of your cable into your drill while it's still connected to the speedo and see if it works then. It's possible the square bit in the speedo is stripped and the cable isn't turning it.
