I guy I ride with sometimes rides year round, and has encountered more than his fair share of people cutting him off, merging into his lane, etc. He's got vis-tape all over his bike so I dunno what it is :-)
Anyway, he started carrying old sparkplugs with him in his tank bag and jackets. One of those will cause some serious damage.
