I'm a fan of the Spitfires. I put a set on my 450 at the beginning of
the year and while I don't have a lot of experience with tires I've
been happy with them. Plenty of traction wet or dry, decent wear
characteristics, and I'm comfortable dragging pegs with them if the
need arises. The bike is a little unstable in the corners but I think
that's more to do with the choice of rake and the old suspension than
the tires. The bike does track nice and straight though, if I had a
throttle lock I'd be comfortable riding without hands for hours. This
is all subjective, your mileage may vary.
